A beautiful privately owned island in the isles of Scilly. It’s an unusual place and difficult to describe. There are 96 luxury holiday cottages, three Restaurants, two hotels and a pub all run by the estate.
Tresco is famous for the Abbey gardens which, due to their location within the jet stream, are sub-tropical. The plants that grow there are not really possible any where else in the United Kingdom.
Photographing mainly interiors, food and a bit of architecture, some unpredictable weather made a few of the destination and architectural shots difficult to achieve. Seeing this as unfinished business, I look forward to returning for the next shoot!
