A small 8 bedroomed bed and breakfast in the heart of Brokenhurst in the New Forest. The forest is a national park and ideal for walking breaks. The colonial theme running through the decor comes from B&B owner Cheryl, who spent her childhood in Africa.
The breakfasts were homely, cooked on the Aga. Their home made granola was delicious and having cheekily asked for the recipe, I’ve made it twice since.
There is also a beautiful and secluded shepherd’s hut available for booking. The interior is fitted with a ship’s cabin style bed and a log burner. The shower is in its own little hut just outside and I loved the exposed coper pipework for all the plumbing.
I enjoyed staying here and found it a cosy, intimate place to photograph.
